LT

Photobucket

Dallas, Texas-born Hip Hop artist, LT has been stringing sharp-witted words together for seven years.  At just 20 – years – old, he has already earned the enviable position of being among Boston’s newest, hottest talents, President of 21rst Century Music Management Company, and in his third year of college as Business Marketing major.  This rising star relocated to Boston from Texas at the age of 9 with his grandmother, who has always fostered and supported his love for music.

LT identifies his lyrical style as, “Versatile, artistic and spontaneous.”  He cites Master P, Biggie Smalls, Tu Pac, UGK, Snoop Dog and the West Coast music movement as his primary music influencers growing up. Although deeply inspired by them all, he sounds like none and says that, “As long as you tell the truth and keep it real, your audience will accept you.”

With regard to Hip-Hop, LT is cocky, confident and smart – an element that he believes comes with the territory of any successful emcee in the music industry.  He is the answer to the problem of Hip-Hop’s monotone, nursery – rhyme – sound, and is confident he will change the landscape of contemporary Hip-Hop with his combination of lyrical talent and cutting-edge marketing concepts.

LT has worked alongside such artists as Fat Joe, AZ, Foxy Brown, the whole Cash Money Millionaire Family, Fabolos and B2K.  His single, “Party and Bullshyt” is getting spins on Boston’s urban music radio station, 94.5fm as well as Clinton Spark’s Syrius Satellite radio show, Shady – 4 – 5, a division of G-Unit radio.

To date, LT has independently sold 7500 units of The Birth of LT – a mixtape/dvd distributed throughout the streets and mom & pop stores of Boston, as well as the Internet.  His mixtape Determination , Vol. 1 has sold 2000 units since it hit the streets in April.  LT is currently working on his 3rd mixtape, hosted by Clinton Sparks [not yet titled] and his self-titled album, “Welcome to The Arena.”
