STILL FRESH

Hana & Associates has been receiving calls from around the country about Blackberry Entertainment’s Fresh Fest Designs line. As such, we feel it’s only right to update you on recent changes of the collection.

Blackberry Ent. initially created a clothing line that reflected and commemorated styles of the early Hip Hop era, e.g. Kangols, fat sneaker laces and rope chains. The designers recycled classic styles and added a modern flare to it, while infusing Blackberry’s unique design concepts. But as of late, the designers have expanded the aesthetics of the line to include a broader spectrum of style which will also speak to a broader consumer market.

Upcoming line changes will include never seen before t-shirts, mirroring everything that represents the culture of today. The funky, fresh, dope, rocking, b-boy styling times will still play an integral role with this new-school-bling.

What exactly is “Fresh?” Shanna Byas [Blackberry Ent.'s CEO] says, “Fresh is New. Fresh is Different. Fresh is Not Faded. Fresh is Recently Created, and Fresh is Original. Fresh is YOU!”

The new Fresh Fest line speaks to all races and generations and welcomes a common experience. It’s not just another t-shirt line; when you wear Fresh Fest, you wear a movement.

The new line is due this summer. Launch party details will be posted here.

Blackberry Entertainment holds launch party for FRESH FEST DESIGNS clothing line at Justins Restaurant.

“FRESH FEST,” established in 1984, was one of the biggest and most successful concert tours in Hip-Hop history. The original tour lineup featured Run DMC, Kurtis Blow, Newcleus, the Fat Boys and Whodini.

Blackberry Entertainment is thrilled to welcome back the styles of Hip-Hop’s past through FRESH FEST DESIGNS – the first clothing line dedicated to timeless Hip-Hop. The stylistic objective of the line is to keep the culture of Hip-Hop alive while paying homage to the musical vets of this era.

Blackberry Ent. made headlines when they kicked off the return of FRESH FREST with Whodini, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, Dana Dane, Biz Markie, Nice & Smooth, Chubb Rock and former members of the Sugar Hill Gang at the New York City Hammerstein Ballroom in 2005.

Blackberry Ent. will again raise headlines to FRESH FEST DESIGNS clothing at Justins Restaurant on June 21, and anticipate the release of an exclusive, limited edition signature collection signed by legendary Hip-Hop artists.

The event will be sponsored by “Bocaj” Vodka, with one-hour open bar and Music by DJ S&S. Special thanks to the line’s designers, Jonas Jean, Karl J. Folabit, Stephen Benedict, J. Poison and J. Bailey.

Reps at Blackberry Entertainment have stated they will, “continue with future FRESH FEST shows, in addition our new venture FRESH FEST DESIGNS will allow us to keep Hip-Hop alive and give back to the creators of a multi billion dollar industry.”
