Actor, Bill Murray, recently hinted that he would be open to hosting Saturday Night Live as part of its 40th anniversary season.
Murray was a cast member on the sketch comedy series from 1976 to 1980, and later hosted the show on five occasions.
“I’d like to do it,” Murray told Vulture
. “I think about it all the time, and go, ‘Aw, that’d be fun to do’. But you have to have the time. You’ve got to have the time to do it.”
Murray is currently promoting his new comedy St Vincent, which pairs him with popular SNL guest host, Melissa McCarthy.
SNL recently invited back former cast members Sarah Silverman and Bill Hader, and will also welcome Chris Rock in November. A primetime anniversary special is scheduled for February.
It would be great to see Murray on SNL again!
