The lineup for the 2015 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is confirmed. Headliners include Drake, Jack White and hardrockers AC/DC. This will be the first time for both Drake and AC/DC.
The three-day event will kick off the festival season on two consecutive weekends, and offer duplicate lineups on April 10-12 and 17-19. In addition to AC/DC, Steely Dan is also set to perform, as well as pioneers Ride, ‘90s British pop group Belle & Sebastian and Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon and Ghostface Killah.
Contemporary buzz-worthy artists also set to make appearances are the War on Drugs, Mac DeMarco, Hozier, and hip hop firecracker, Azealia Banks.
Also on the roster are Interpol, Florence and the Machine, the Weeknd and St. Vincent. Electronic dance music gets the lion’s share of the lineup with Kaskade, Axwell/Ingrosso, David Guetta and DJ Snake – among the bigger names.
Last year’s Coachella grossed $78 million over both weekends.
