Distributor Files Lawsuit Against Drake Over ‘Homecoming’ Film

The company distributing the concert film entitled, “Drake’s Homecoming: The Lost Footage” filed a lawsuit against him after the rapper encouraged fans not to see the film.

Drake implored his 21 million Twitter followers not to see the film set to hit theaters on Thursday, March 19th (for one night only), this past Monday via Twitter:

“It’s not something OVO or Drake have any part in. I feel it is my responsibility to inform and protect my fans.”

“James Prince and I stand together on not supporting the Drake Homecoming footage in theaters. #protectingthefans.”

Jas retweeted Drake. Drake said that he didn’t have any issues with the Prince family. Although Jas sued Cash Money Records over claims of being owed millions for discovering the rapper.

Following the tweets Drake tweeted ticket sales for his OVO Fest this summer.

Specticast alleges that Drake disowned the film on Twitter to draw attention to his page.
