Last year, A$AP Rocky, Azealia Banks, Wale, J. Cole and Big Sean were selected for the inaugural Cash Princes list, with Cole graduating to the Cash Kings list per earnings of $7 million a few months later.
Forbes will disclose its second annual Hip Hop Cash Princes list on Tuesday, March 31.
However this time, Forbes has appointed Cash Kings alum DJ Khaled, former Cash Prince Tyga and Hot 97 Morning Show host Peter Rosenberg in place of last year’s judges, Birdman, Fab 5 Freddy and Kevin Liles. Joining the new judges are Forbes’ staff writers Natalie Robehmed and Zack O’Malley Greenburg to select this year’s Cash Princes.
Any hip hop artist under the age of 30 is entitled to a shot at consideration of the 2015 list, so long as they haven’t been previously included on a Cash Kings or Cash Princes list.
The illustrious ranking will include exclusive interviews and features by Forbes.
Stay tuned for more updates.
