Today (June 8), iTunes launched its new music streaming service, endorsed by Drake, who sported a snazzy, vintage, varsity Apple jacket. Now, people all over the net want the jacket, even though it’s hot outside..
The artist said he bought the employee jacket online, which is wool with leather sleeves bearing the classic Apple logo.
Drake also went on record to say that now that he’s on board with Apple, the service will rival all others in the music streaming industry. So, watch your back Amazon Prime, Spotify, Pandora, Plug.dj, Google Play and Tidal, of course! You’ve been warned!
Drake also announced that he will release his new album via the “Apple Connection” feature, which is designed to allow artists, both major and unsigned, to share their output and connect directly with fans with lyrics, behind-the-scenes photos, remixes, and more. He said of the feature: “Focus on your body of work. Instead of having to post your stuff on these different and sometimes confusing places, it’s all in one place: Connect.”
