Lee Daniels’s Empire is under fire again. Another person has alleged that Daniels stole their idea for Empire. Jon Astor-White is suing producers Lee Daniels and Danny Strong along with Imagine Entertainment and 21st Century Fox for $500 million, reports TMZ.

Astor-White alleges he pitched a show called King Solomon in 2007, and Empire shares a similar story line. His show was to be about a record executive and his family’s battle over a record label; the cast would have included Richard Roundtree, Diahann Carroll, Alicia Keys, Kanye West and George Hamilton.

A Michigan woman is also claiming that she is the real Cookie and Marvin Gaye’s son claims they stole the name of the label for the show and many others – both are suing Daniels.
