Louis Farrakhan and Eminem Meet in Detroit

The Nation of Islam’s religious leader Louis Farrakhan recently met with rapper Eminem in Detroit as part of his Justice Or Else! Campaign, just weeks away from the 20th anniversary of The Million Man March.

In addition to a dinner meeting with Eminem, Farrakhan spoke at the Fellowship Chapel church in Detroit. Shortly after, the NOI leader shared a photo of himself and the rapper captioned, “I was very honored to receive my brother Marshall Mathers aka @eminem last night at my dinner table for a beautiful dialogue. #Farrakhan #JusticeOrElse #Detroit.”

The Justice Or Else! campaign marks the 20th Anniversary of The Million Man March, which will be celebrated on Oct. 10 in Washington, D.C.

Back on Oct. 16, 1995, Farrakhan said that The Million Man March was a gathering en masse of African-Americans held on and around the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

The Million Man March has caused religious controversy among the Jewish and Christian communities. Some African-American Christians have criticized him and went as far as to compare Farrakhan to Adolf Hitler for his anti-Jewish rhetoric and views.

Details about the dinner meeting haven’t been released, and it can be assumed that the Detroit rapper will join the 20th anniversary of The Million March, in some capacity.
