Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz donated a home to a family of 11 through his TRU Foundation.
The home boasts a five-bedroom, two-bath layout. The rapper was made aware of the family that had fallen on hard times through a fundraising page that was set up by Atlanta’s Progression Church. After getting the house, 2 Chainz took the family to check out their new digs and pick out their bedrooms.
The father of the family said of the gift, “We was not looking forward to nothing like this. But we gonna learn how to deal with it. We thank God for it.” He continued, “Now we don’t have to cry no more. We don’t have to worry no more.”
2 Chainz made it clear that he didn’t donate the house for selfish reasons. He said, “This right here ain’t gonna save me taxes. I’m looking forward to seeing their smiles. I’m looking forward to the kids growing up knowing that Uncle 2 Chainz came through. Keep praying. You gotta have faith. You gotta believe.”
