Emerging results in the ongoing legal battle between Ciara and Future reveal that a judged is not seeing eye to eye with the singer.
On the the question of whether or not Hendrix’s tweets about his ex were enough to damage Ciara’s career – the judge at least – has said that they have not.
This win for Future is just one spoke in the bike wheel of their overall legal battle concerning baby Future Zahir Wilburn. The “Promise” songstress will have to return to the drawing board to win her $15 million defamation lawsuit against the father of her son.
Among the tweets Hendrix published is: “This bitch got control problems.” Despite the definition of the word “libel,” the judge has disagreed that Ciara’s professional reputation has been compromised by Future’s social media outburst.
It’s possible that Future’s tweets were eclipsed by an interview he did with Rollingstone last June, in which the “Dirty Sprite” rapper had this to say about his ex:
“Her being successful, her being happy, helps me,” he said. “I’m attached to you. If you’re happy, I’m happy. You’re connected for life. I don’t want you to go through this shit and for it to come back on my son, my kid. I want you to be in the best situation.”
