Some of you might be cracking up about Mariah Carey‘s performance blunder before the ball dropped for 2017 in Times Square. But, you can learn a lot about class from the veteran singer. She closes out the show with five words:
It don’t get no better.
According to Carey’s manager, Stella Bulochnikov, the show’s producers were notified three times of the technical problems but did not fix them — and chose to let Ms. Carey’s messy performance continue “to get ratings.”
Dick Clark Productions issued a statement, denying any wrong doing and said that Carey didn’t do her own sound check and that they’d never sabotage their own show.
Carey said that she did them a favor and they didn’t have their act together.
